More gouache!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the long long hiatus, 2011 is being one incredibly crazy year and it looks like it may only get worse… Anyway, here’s some more gouachery, made these a while ago, first one was a birthday present for my amazing and talented friend Clo, second image is just some sketchbook doodling (the little daschund was inspired by some random -but awesome!- pic on the web of one of those little fellas wearing a REAL chainmail, how cool is that!?).

Hola gente linda!

A commission and some news

Hey all! Here’s a commission I did recently, it’s a portrait of four siblings and it was tons of fun, getting likenesses right in this style is always a peculiar challenge. It was made with the usual PS+AI combo.

And here’s the news part! You may already now from all the spamming we’ve done everywhere about it, but Gorilla Artfare has teamed up with CFSL Ink to bring you Gorilla Artbook, an awesome collection of art from our wonderful group. The cover illo was a collab between Clo, Devin and Tom, and me and Fed designed it (and the interiors too!) so not only it contains tons of eyecandy, it also has our SWEAT AND TEARS!!! *drama*

The book will be available for preorder on April 7th and released on April 14th and you’ll be able to buy it here (where you can also see a small preview and drool).

A bunch of doodles and a pangolin

Here are a few little doodles I did over a few days out of suggestions people gave me on Twitter! All of them are made with markers and brushpen on postcard sized card, except for the pangolin which is acrylics on (a significantly bigger sheet of) watercolour paper.

I will probably be selling a few of these (the prettiest ones) and any others I make in the future in our upcoming webstore (almost done!). If you have any suggestions of your own of what would you like to see me draw/paint I’d love to hear them!
